Description
VEMS PnP for Motronic 1.2 / 1.3 engines offers full control over your engine and even allows further features and control that the stock ECU is incapable of offering. The PnP is a loom upgrade kit that will allow you to plug in a VEMS into your stock engine loom.No longer are you restricted to using a AFM/MAF to measure the amount of airflow you are getting and no longer restricted in the design of your intake system like when having to use a AFM/MAF.
The ECU PnP kit will fit right in but it is recommended to use the supplied wideband lambda sensor for fuel tuning and built in MAP sensor for load sensing. On ITB setups the MAP sensor improves the fuel tuning and is reccommended to be used with Alpha-n.
Kit consists of
- VEMS suitable for Motronic 1.2/1.3 control with loom upgrades
- VEMS 400kpa MAP sensor (capable of 3bar boost (43psi boost))
- Bosch LSU 4.9 Wideband sensor and extra wiring.
- Motronic loom upgrade (Variable TPS,
CAM Sync input ready for sequential fuel injection (doesn´t have to be used)
Wasted spark output ready (doesn´t have to be used)
Individually wired injectors for sequential fuel injection)
Cam sync and wasted spark are pre wired in features that do not require you to use them but they are added in case you wish to upgrade in the future. You must let us know if you plan on using the wasted spark right away.

VEMS Motronic 1.2 / 1.3 upgrade is your way of using your stock engine loom yet upgrade to a standalone and gain further features that the stock loom doesn´t provide all while maintaining the stock appearance.
Motronic 1.2/1.3 was found on the later BMW M20, M30 and early S38 engines. You can identify if you have a such a system by the crank trigger on front of the engine having 58teeth and 2 missing. Alternatively contact us.

This does require you to send us your engine loom for modifications, PnP ECU does not source and supply looms as the conditions are unknown. The loom must come from a working car. No components are ordered until the loom is delivered to us. The loom will not work with the OEM ECU after its been modified.

The auxiliary connector allows more analog and digital inputs as well as power outputs for controlling external devices like boost controllers, fan controller etc.
