Ignition options:
Smart Coils: Customer will install logic coils in place of original coil wiring
IGBT Output box: Stock coils can be retained
This is for port injection converted vehicles ONLY. The direct injection no longer works and GDI Injectors should be removed and blanks fitted. All PFI injectors are supported. PFI Injector harness can be ordered as well with customer specific injector connectors, otherwise injector outputs are provided in the auxiliary connector.
Alternator, Oil level, Oil Temperature and Waterpump BSD control is built into the adapter.
Some aftermarket VAG/R8 coil looms available for the OEM ECU will not be compatible with a MaxxECU! Contact the coil conversion manufacturer to verify that their coil loom is compatible with logic 0-5v signals.
